Are they supposed to be turning the UltraHeroes into it's own seperate comic?

Yes. "Disney's Hero Squad" issue 1 (see http://www.boom-kids.com/disney-s-hero-squad-01-cover-a.html) will apparently be out soon.

cool, looking forwrd to it, first comic title I've actively followed since the Disney Afternoon comics in the 90's ;)

Yeah I miss those Disney Afternoon comics I hope that Boom Studios will publish them if there are enough modern readers who like them.
