I like that cover.
So if the trend continues, will we see a regular Double Duck series next month...?

Arthur: As Archival Editor emeritus, I've helped Boom with a little background research related to the stories they're publishing.
I haven't actually seen the finished product on DDF 347, so I'm looking forward to it as much as you are.

That's excellent to hear, David. You're like, a Disney Comics encyclopedia on legs. Hopefully Boom will continue to pick your brain... ;)

Maybe they should do a spinoff series based on that storyline in the title.

I would find it a bit strange if that would be business as usual; print the first chapter of a multi-part series in a title like Mickey Mouse or WDC&S and then split it off in its own title. Is Wizards of Mickey #1 going to start at chapter 2? What do you think of having all these series like WoM and Ultraheroes with the first issue 'missing'? As a collector I wouldn't like that.

I'm waiting for the trade, and hoping they include the first chapter of WoM from MMF #296 in it.
It is a little unorthodox, but maybe they're just trying to find their groove right now.

I just got this issue today and I really enjoyed it. While I only collect Uncle Scrooge, I was at my local shop and this Donald cover really sold me. I enjoyed the issue more than the new US installment. Not bad for a new installment. You don't get much other than the setup for the story arc, but not bad.....recommended for 2.99.
