Does anyone know particularly which of the last Overstreet Comic Book Price Guides feature any specific articles on duck books? I remember hearing somewhere there was one or two of the price guides that had feature articles on the ducks, but was not sure which ones did. Thanks in advance!

I only know about (remember, that is) #7 featuring E.B. Boatner's essay on Barks on Burbank to Calisota.
Cover was "Porgy of the Mounties" and the volume also featured a S***load of reproductions of CB oilpaintings...

Overstreet #17 (1987) had a feature article about Disney comics written by Thomas Andrae and Bruce Hamilton.
Overstreet #34 (2004) had an article about Donald Duck's 70th anniversary. I don't have that one, but considering it's the Overstreet guide, I'd be surprised if the comics aren't mentioned.

Thank you Hedburg and Fritz.....this is the info I was looking for! I recently picked up my first copy of Overstreet (the 2008 version,) in a local used book store and while it does have a price guide in it, I was surprised to find it had some decent articles about vintage comics as well.....I will try to get copies of these guides and see what they have to offer. Thanks again!

Fritz Baugh? Oh wow... I haven't seen your name since the letter columns in the old days of Disney. (You don't know me, I just recognized your name from that period is all :))
Are you back to reading the books again or did you ever leave?

I've been there (except for about two years back in 2006-2008 when finances got tight), but letter writing got more sporadic after I got a job in 1996. I didn't find this board until very recently; I've visited Inducks for years, but I must have missed the link or something. I actually found this place when I Googled Flintheart Glomgold's nephew, and a link showed up. :D

Er...anyway, thanks for the welcome. We probably shouldn't derail the thread any further though.
