I just took a look at Gemstones Disney pages The number of available back issues is shrinking rapidly. It still makes me sad seeing that. I loved Uncle Scrooge and Comics & Stories with all the classic style stories.

Yes, it's a sad ending. Gemstone was especially good to Duck comics.

Yes it is sad that Gemstone Disney Comics are shrinking. Not only are they out of business but very few of their back issues are available. I hope someday they will have all their issues available like Gladstone did.

As of a couple of weeks ago, Mile High Comics had a bunch of Gemstones on sale for $2-$3 each. If you're missing issues, you may want to try there.

Speaking of back issues, I'm looking for some "Disney Adventures" from the 1990s. You know, those digest-sized books published by Disney themselves which included things like "Darkwing Duck" and also non-Disney material.
They seem to be really hard to find. Even Mile High Comics has only some shattered copies in stock.
These are the issues I'm looking for:
Vol. 4, #2 (December 1993)
Vol. 4, #5 (March 1994)
Vol. 5, #1 (November 1994)
Vol. 5, #11 (August 1995)
Vol. 5, #14 (October 1995)
Does anybody have a suggestion where I could go hunting for them?
(Sorry for being off-topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this.)

I don't know where you could find them Gerd but I use to collect them too until 1998.

I've sometimes seen people selling big piles of them on Ebay. Problem: People often don't seem to be selling them individually, so you might have to buy several sets with lots of issues in order to get just the 5 ones you want.

Well, for overseas shipment this is sometimes less expensive than having to order single copies from 5 different people. Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open.

Great idea, Stefan.
Gerd - I just bid on a bunch of Disney Adventures from 1993 to 1995. It looks like the seller is only shipping to the U.S.
I only want two of the issues, so I can ship you the ones you're looking for for postage (plus maybe a minimal cost if the lot gets too expensive. Doesn't look it though.)
