The first $49.95 figurine from Dark Horse, Uncle Scrooge himself, was released today. Did anyone here get one?
I had ordered one through my local comic shop, but it didn't come in. The shop had ordered three of them, but didn't receive any. I did some phoning around, and located another shop that had ordered one. They received their's, but of course it was ordered for one of their customers, so they didn't have any for sale.
Anyone know what's going on? Diamond seems very erratic lately in their order fullfillment.

I've got one coming in the mail. I paid about 10 dollars more for it, but missed the pre-order. I think it's made of a resin-type material like most all of the other statues......It is pricey for such a little mold too.....It's only about 4 inches tall and 2 and 3/4" wide.....tiny little thing. I think it's the limited quantity that keeps the prices high. Only 950 each edition. I used to think that 10,000 only was a small # considering the world's population and all. But heck, we've gone over this before, anything Disney and limited is going to be pricey. Cheers.

Got this Uncle Scrooge statue finally - It's made out of a resin type plastic and seems to be handpainted. It is VERY small for the price. (not even 4 inches tall,) I like this line because it's unique to the Uncle Scrooge comics and not licensed Disney so much - or a Ducktales type universe. The tin is nice but my foam with the pinback and booklet did not stay glued to the inside of the lid....I just used a little super to stick it back into place. My # is 790 out of 950 - It's hand written on the base and tin bottom. I was so impressed with this statue, I pre-ordered Donald from Entertainment Earth....Cheers.
