I think the most scary part is the almost deafening silence from Gemstone. They have had production problems before, so I can understand that they may have some again. However, the lack of any comment from anyone at Gemstone worries me. Why not simply comment here or at any comic book news site that they are having problems but that things will get back on track and that the company is in no problems in regards to going out of business?
Of course there could be 100 good reasons that there has been no comments from Gemstone. Perhaps all of us talking about the silence from Gemstone will work as "reverse psychology" and we will hear from Gemstone soon! :)

I don't blame you Dean. If Gemstone is going to go out of business I hope another company will take over. Of Course we should discuss this in my Is Gemstone going out of business thread.
