I find it interesting that you rarely find Mickey (or Goofy) going barefoot. I wonder why that is so?

I know I've seen Goofy's big black feet many times. I've only seen Mickey's one or two times. But can't remember in which stories. I remember seeing Goofy's feet several times when he was at the beach, in a swimming suit (some of those were '50s stories drawn by Bradbury). I'm sure I saw Mickey's black feet a few times in Gottfredson long stories, and in Gottfredson 1929-33 stories.

I wish I had some scans on me, but I do remember seeing Mickey's bare feet quite a few times in them. Here's a listing that features a scan (small, admitedly) of Mickey's bare feet
I always thought Mickey's feet looked really weird barefoot for some reason growing up
