I'm glad I opted not to get a subscription but instead to just have my comic shop hold them for me (it was cheaper that way anyway).

At least you have that option Jeff. I don't even have that option in my city. I had subscriptions to both titles and I'm hoping to get a refund soon. I might order the last issue of each title next month.

I used to get my Gemstone titles at a comic shop in Leiden in the Netherlands where I lived. They ordered them for me through the Previews catalog. But I canceled this early last year because I was going to move to the US and thought I'd buy them later. The Dutch comic shop charged me quite a bit more than the cover price.
I have just ordered all issues that I still missed, basically all from last year, from Amazon.com so that I still have my collection complete in case this is really the end. They were all in stock. Amazon has a great deal right now of 4-for-3 on books under $10, so you can buy four issues of US or WDC&S for the price of three. Great deal and I saved a lot of money. Free shipping too.

Sorry to hear that. I'd seen Mevrouwkern advertised, and hoped it was just a new shop.
