Gottfredson called him "The MAN from the future". He was supposed to be a human.Since this is the only explanation given in the story, we must accept this as Gottfredson's intention. However, the statements on Eega Beeva's origin are rather ambiguous and open for interpretation. Eega has a watch that shows a date of October 3th, 2447. Does this mean he's from the future? He might simply be using a different calendar.
Another statement comes from the scientists, who are convinced Eega Beeva must be from the future, because he looks exactly how they expected that a man from the future would look. Does this mean they're right? Their assumptions seem fairly ridiculous. Moreover, Eega Beeva himself says nothing to affirm them. The only thing that seems clear is that he's from a different and more advanced civilization. How he arrived here is anyone's guess.

http://disneycomics.free.fr/Mickey/manoftomorrow/05.htmlIn his first story, Eega Beeva shows a photo of his fiancée to Mickey. Later, the Brazilian authors will make a story with her and Eega.Fairly convincing evidence that Eega Beeva is straight indeed. Well, he might not be gay, but he's definitely queer! So much then, for Eega and Mickey's hypothetical love child. Sigh. :(
