I'm trying to imrove my Italian language skills by being able to have English and Italian versions of the same comics, Scrooge, Daffy, etc. Can anyone help me figure out if this is possible and how I can accomplish this?

Yes. You could purchase Italian comic books with given stories that have also been published in American Gladstone and Gemstone Comics (and purchase those from various Internet and also from back issue sales sites of the 2 US firms. You can find out which stories have been printed both in USA and Italy by doing story searches in Inducks COA (www.Inducks.org (COA Pages)) database. My comments here are very general. You would, of course, need more specific details on how to carry all this out.
The easiest way to obtain such stories in single books, is to purchase Italian comic books in The "Tesori" series, certain issues of which contain stories by Carl Barks, which are displayed side-by-side in English and Italian. Below is the cover of one of those books, and its translated story's first page:

That's really great!! I wish we would have such a series in Germany as well.
I like the idea to print the English pages in black and white and the Italian one in Color. That makes it possible to see Barks original lines and a colored version.

So "Ruff!" in English is "Arrr!" in Italian. Interesting. :D
