Well it is a little bit out of character for Scrooge to give up a treasure unless he didn't have a choice but to give it up.

That could be true Henry. I think they might have changed the cover out of political correctness. I only have the more recent version of the story.

Note that I wrote Gemstone with a capital G. But I now realise that the comic is a Gladstone comic, not a Gemstone one, so the (intended) joke doesn't work.
