If you by "copied" mean that I have calked a Rosa drawing on to the pumpkin that??s incorrect. I have drawn a Scrooge on the pumpkin inspired by the last panel on the prologue page of "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck". But I had no intention to make it look exactly like it.

A noticeable difference between the rosa drawing and the pumpkin is the sideburns. In the Rosa drawing the sideburns stck out in an almost unnatural way; I always assumed this was in order to fit in that particular panel but I could be wrong.
This reminds me of the Scrooge piñata my dad made last year (see my profile picture or http://dcf.outducks.org/viewtopic.php?id=1410 for that).

Did you actually carve that image of Scrooge into the pumpkin, or draw it on somehow? If the former, how did you prevent the parts of the pumpkin surrounded by large cavities (such as the pupils or the tongue) from collapsing while you were doing the carving? I have no experience with pumpkin carving on this scale before, so my question arises mostly out of curiosity. Stupendous job, nevertheless.

I think Rosa has made the sideburns a bit bigger because of Scrooge´s reaction. He is irritated and the sideburns ??pop out" . I think it enhances the expression in that panel.

Thank you very much for your comment! I drew Scrooge on the pumpkin with a water-soluble pen and then I carved from that. I had to be careful when I carved around the pupils so they wouldn't break. When I did the area around the tongue I just peeled off the outer layer.
