I just picked up a copy of Gladstone's Disneyland Birthday Party album, from back in 1985, and was wondering about the identity of some of the stories' artists (since this album didn't have a credits page). While I recognized a Paul Murry Dumbo story, a Barks Gyro/Scrooge story, a Tony Strobl Donald story, a Jack Bradbury Peter Pan story, and the Tony Strobl framing sequence, I couldn't identify the artists of two stories. I couldn't identify the artist of a Goofy and "Li'l Davy" story--I'm guessing that he was a stranger to funny-animal comics, since his Goofy doesn't look too good but his human (not dogfaced!) characters--a crooked railroad crew foreman, Indians, and railroad tycoons--look excellent. I would also like to find out who drew the Snow White/Seven Dwarfs story--this was the other story whose artwork I couldn't recognize. If anyone knows who these artists are, let me know.

I guess this is the # you mentioned, only the Li'l Davy story is still unidentified artistwise.

Thanks for the Inducks link. However, now I'm more curious than ever about that Goofy/Li'l Davy artist. As I said, his human characters look great, far better than many humans in contemporary superhero comics--they're distinctive, clearly drawn, and realistic but still cartoony. Again, on the other hand, his Goofy is not too impressive. Who could this mystery man be?

I seem not to be able to find my copy of the danish edition: Gavehæfte (Giant) 4, could you show a scan of some of those human-characters you mentioned? And maybe Goofy too.
I guess cou could put your question as a comment to the story in Inducks, might give some respons.
