INDUCKS is a GREAT tool for finding out who wrote or drew a story, what publications printed a given story in various countries, what characters were in what stories, which stories, a given artist drew, which stories a given writer wrote, which categories of stories using which characters are published by which magazines in which countries, and so on. It is also good for artists and writers to see what magazines have printed their stories. It is an indespensible asset that is put together by VOLUNTEERS! We should be VERY, VERY grateful to them for doing so! I use it for a lot of different uses, and so do MANY other people.

I mostly use it to find in what publications a story was reprinted, or to check the contents of a publication, and for reference in discussions (giving a link to the I.N.D.UC.K.S page).
Other searches I have made, as far as I remember: author & character.
It's a wonderful source, indeed, and François' C.O.A. has kept getting better over the years-- powerful & easy to use.

When I mail some information about ancestors or relatives to Gilles Maurice for his Duck family-tree, it's nice to be able to check for the original publication. Sometimes even the characters original name is noted in the description. I used COA heavily in my translation of Ande-Aner for www.donaldisme.dk
