Today it is April 1st and the Norwegian "Andeby-Online" site:
http://www.andebyonline.com/
quickly has started what looks like today's most poor April Fools gag. It's just to obvious. All the text in the forum and in the articles (except in the headers) is somehow encrypted. Here is some lines from an article about the "Mikke #02/2007" magazine:

No this is a really bad "joke"...
:( :P

Well, the joke at McDrake was more succesful. They said that Barks´"Golden Apples" story had been found in the house of a former employee at Western, who took it home to give it to his kids to be used as a "coloring book". It had now been rescued and would appear in a dutch limited edition book. :D

Successful? By whose standards? The perpetrator of that "joke" should be drawn, quartered and keelhauled (maybe beaten with old copies of the old 17-volume black and white Dutch Carl Barks Library)! His irresponsible pitiful attempt at humour might have set off a morbid curse upon the Earth that will not end until there is weeping in many houses. One shouldn't joke about such sacred things as lost Barks pages! If certain, unbalanced Barks fans (and you know they exist!) were to believe lost pages were found, and then you tell them it is just a joke, they might go berserk! There is no telling what they might do, to get even with the World for lifting their hopes so high, and then crashing them through the ground into the abyss of misery. .........BEWARE! ....... BEWARE! Lock your doors and windows, and pray for forgiveness, ...... O ye of little foresight!

Well.. funny? Okay; I can se the humor in it.. but for me? It only makes it harder to read I'm afraid. To read it like this takes twice the time.

I´m with you, Rob. I too believed it at first and then I realized it was april 1. So, I was at a low for a while. The joke was only succesful in getting some of us to believe it. As a joke per se, it was not funny at all. Especially when you´re a Barks die-hard fan. Maybe we can find a way to get even with this joker. Ahh, sweet revenge, where art thou?...

I can understand enough Norsk to get the gist of a sentence. but, somehow I don't want to do all the hard work to decipher that encoded message. I can't believe it can be funny enough to make it worth the work.

Can someone please tell me what the rip-roaring, bellyaching, falling-on-the-floor and pants wetting bundle of humour is wrapped up in that incripted mess? I see "Måned" , "Mikke" "inholder", "to" "optryk" (?), "og" "en" "specielt" "lang" "X-Mikke" "historie". "I" "totil" or "til" "får" "vi" "selvsagt" "kromgåte" ???? "opgaver".

Does it have to do with a new monthly (or in one month (from now?)) "X-Mickey" publication with an especially long Mickey story?

If THAT'S what it's about, it surely is NOT humourous enough to make the deciphering worth it!

Fie on you vile DOGS, who fling these putrid April Fools "jokes" on us, unsuspecting innocents! Beware! Vengeance is sweet!
