Who is a Disney artist of your country who you'd like to advise to a foreign reader? Please, mention one of more him stories , too..

Eh, could you refrase the question? I don't think I quite understand what you're asking for.

I think he's talking about Disney Comic Artists who come from the forum users' home countries. So, for example, if you come from Italy, you could tell a bit about Cavazzano (although he's already widely known ;)).

This link will list Disney creators along with their nationality:

Currently there is only one Danish artist working for Danish the publisher worthy of mention, Flemming Andersen.
(Freddy Milton is not so productive and produces for the Dutch editors, but still...)
There are many-many-many Danish writers. Lars Jensen is very active, and you may have noticed he is popular even in the American editions.

Danish cartoonist or what ever you would like to call it, Flemming Andersen is my personal favorit from Denmark. His style is quite unique and very Jumbobook-alike.

In Norway we have one active Disney drawer and three active writers. I think the drawer, Arild Midthun, draws very good. Two of the writers, Olaf Solstrand and Nils Petter Smeby, writes good stories. Probably the third one too, Tommy Kvarsvik, but his stories is only published in The Netherlands yet.

I think it would be very appropriate to mention Mårdøn Smet, who draws a mean Paperinik...

Actually Lars Jensen was the most popular danish comic-author in a vote on this page: http://www.seriejournalen.dk/tegneserie_indhold.asp?art=Nyhed&ID=3027

Much sorry. I wasn't aware of him drawing more than a single story, but I do think Mr. Smet is one mean mofu artist talent.
If I can recommend a non-Disney work by him, the "Misantropolis" story with the Moomins(!) is fabulous.

Quoting from another thread (http://dcf.outducks.org/viewtopic.php?id=8):

Why not?

Norway has one, Denmark has a couple, Finland has a couple. Why won't Iceland have any? Are you saying that if an Icelandic fan/artist gets good enough at drawing to do a good job, and the Icelandic Editor-In-Chief wants to hire him so that his publication can advertise a local artist, that the publishing company will refuse, because they won't have the money to pay him?

Norway has one...

Actually Norway has several authors like Olaf Solstrand, Tommy Kvarsvik and Nils Petter Smeby. The only problem is that so far we have only seen a very few stories by these good authors.

So, Freddy Milton (a Danish National institution) is NOT a REAL Disney artist!!! I guess he is rather, CHOPPED LIVER???

I rate his stories, coproduced, together with Daan Jippes, as the second best Duck stories after Carl Barks.

Just because his pen name is Milton (English), doesn't mean he's not a true Dane. His real name is Larsen. And because he is not working for Egmont Tegneserier (currently) doesn't mean we should forget him. He has drawn some stories for the Danish publisher. But, certainly his volume of stories for Dutch Disney comics, alone, should get him in The Danish Disney Artist Hall of Fame!
