That way we keep images shown here at the same place. The tool will also resize large images automatically for you.

Is this a feature of the forum system, I wonder? At ddfr.dk (where we use the same forum system), we usually tell people to use image hosting services like imageshack.us and photobucket.com

It looks "homemade" to me.
Even though a php file uploading tool might be simple to make, it's really convenient :)

I programed it manually, so that we can have a complete copy of the discussions on the forum with images, we won't be restricted by ADs, bandwidth limits etc.
