As you can see at the lower right of the screen, there's a real-time chatroom (a.k.a. irc channel) where you can engage in lively discussions with whoever happens to be around. It's useful for asking questions that aren't easily answered with COA's INDUCKS search and general airing of opinions.
However you should be aware that while the room may seem populated, it doesn't mean that there are people paid to monitor the chat and immediately answer you. Often they will be busy and only checking in occasionally to see what's up - if anything. Many times we find that someone has logged in with a "Hi" and then a minute or two's idleness later logged right out again. So please have patience. And if you have a question, ask it. If you have to go away, maybe the answer will be found and awaiting your return. You can of course post a question here on the forum, but often investigation is helped along with a third degree interrogation of the questioner for additional clues. (A regressional hypnosis plug-in is in development at Gyro's workshop.)

No one seems to be using this feature, probably because no one else seems to be using it! Maybe we should agree on a time when a lot of us can post, and everyone come on at the same time?

Sounds like a great idea. But we are also going to have a trivia quiz subforum here on DCF. So, the quiz freaks will have a lot on their plates! But we should make our quizzes here ridiculously-difficult, whereas on the quiz sub-forum, they might only be super difficult!
