...Is there a Non-Disney version of Big Bad Wolf who have a son or a nephew like how the Disney version of Big Bad Wolf have Li'l Bad Wolf as his son and Izzy as his nephew? I have seen some different versions of The Three Little Pigs but I never saw the Bad Wolf having a son or a nephew. I noticed that in some versions of TLP, the pigs had a mother.

There are several versions of the Three Little Pigs story. In most of the early versions, the pigs lived with their mother. In some versions, the family was poor and the mother sent the three little pigs out into the world so could earn a living. In other versions, the mother became old and feeble and sent the pigs out to earn a living. In the 1933 Disney film, there is no reference to the mother but hanging on the wall is a picture of some sausage links labeled "Father." That was quite macabre for a Disney cartoon! Here is one version of the tale:

In 2010, Robert Paul Weston wrote a fantasy novel titled Dark City. It was narrated by the son of the Big Bad Wolf who had killed Red Riding Hood. Yes, in Weston's world, Red Riding Hood was not rescued and the Wolf had a son. Here is the author's website:

Yes, I know that TLP's mother was never mentioned in the first Disney TLP short but I think she was mentioned or appeared in some Disney comic stories. So is the Dust City novel the only non-Disney version where BW had a son or there are other versions of BW who have a son in a cartoon/comic book/picture book or whatever it is? This son of this non-Disney version of BW is older than Li'l Bad Wolf or The Three Little Wolves from Disney TLP shorts because I heard that he is a sixteen years old wolf.

I'm afraid you're both wrong, fellas. The original TLP short also has a picture of "Mother" on another wall. She's depicted as a nursing (nonhumanized) mother sow.

Also, "The Three Sleepy Pigs" was a quasi-sequel that Disney produced in the 1960s as a segment for a Mexican children's film, "Cri-Cri el Grillito Cantor." In it you can see lots of the Pigs' mom as a humanized character.

One Looney Tunes version of the Big Bad Wolf has a nephew (not a son) who's ashamed of his Uncle's villainy in THE TURN-TALE WOLF (1950). It seems to me that the cartoon might have been inspired by Disney's Li'l Bad Wolf on some level, though the setup is very different.

Yes, you're right about the other picture that featured a non-anthropopomorphic mother pig with the word "mother" in it. I have heard about this Mexican "unofficial sequel" film before but I wonder why they used the Disney versions of The Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf with or without Disney's permission? I wonder if some of Non-Mexican Disney members have watched it and what they think of it? It's interesting to see that this is one of The TLP cartoons that shows TLP's mother. I wonder how many Looney Tunes versions of Big Bad Wolf are there? Three? I know some other two Bad Wolves. One is the BW from Pigs in a Polka and the other is from The Three Little Bops. This BW in this short have a similar design to BW's design from Pigs in a Polka because both of these Bad Wolves are brown. The nephew of this BW seems to be very similar to Li'l Bad Wolf (Maybe he could be Looney Tunes' LW) except that the nephew wear a hat that is different from LW's hat. LW was seen wearing a different hat (similar to LT BW's nephew's) in his cartoon appearances like Raw Toonage and House of Mouse.

I'm not sure why you're jumping to conclusions that this sequence was unofficial or unauthorized. There's a huge amount of information about it readily available online.

This excellent piece by Jim Korkis (writing under the pen name Wade Sampson) tells about the making of "The Three Sleepy Pigs," which was in fact produced by Disney itself from start to finish.

I used the word "unofficial sequel" because this segment seems not be an official sequel to the previous TLP sequel shorts and that why I said that. Well, I heard about the segment being produced by Disney but only the segment not the whole movie. Thanks for showing me a link that shows more informations about the TLP segment. I noticed that you first posted your reply under my name before you restored my post back and I was like: "What happened? Why was my post changed? Did David borrowed my account or something?". I was going to cry because I thought that my post was lost forever but later I noticed that my post came back and became happy again. I wonder if it was a mistake by you or it was one of the glitches of this forum, David?

It was a mistake by me. I'm an admin here, which enables me to edit other people's posts in case of emergencies (flame war, nasty behavior, etc).
By accident, I had the editing function on, and it first caused my reply to replace your post. But I noticed and undid the mistake. Sorry about the shock.

OK! So it was just a mistake by you (Well, I know that you're one of those admins of this forum) when you click the edit button on my post instead of clicking the "post reply" button to send me your reply. Now I'm not worrying about it anymore because I realized that it was just a mistake.
