Hello, New to the forum but I have a question for everyone. Long time fan of disney comics but I was hoping someone knew if Marvel would start up their own imprint line of disney comics? When Boom studios had the rights I heard that Darkwing Duck was a success and the Muppets sold well also. Since Marvel got bought out by Disney they only released a Muppet Omnibus. Any word on future disney titles or reprints? Outside of the great Fantagraphics reprints of the duck comics.

Well, i hope that doesn't occur, it will be a mess, Disney and Marvel are far too different to have something in common, but i think the good part in this it will be a nice publicity for whom doesn't know Donald's univers

Sorry for not making it clear. I was hoping Marvel would make Disney Comics that are seperate from the Marvel Universe. It would be a mess if they mixed the two together.

Yeah and i guess if they actually do that they will focus about Fontomiald and ''Super dingo'' not just random ducks in a random city.

I'm actually curious about this myself. Considering the history of American comics like Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, and Walt Disney Comics & Stories, I would love the see those titles continue under the Marvel line. Not to mention, now that Disney owns Marvel, I could see them doing comics in the vain of series such as Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls, as well as new stuff based on movies like Frozen, Monsters University, and Big Hero 6 (which, yes, I know is already based on a comic, but I could see them doing a series that falls more in line with the upcoming Disney movie).
I'm especially surprised that there hasn't yet been a Frozen comic book series, considering that Disney seems to be milking that IP for anything they can get!
But it would be nice to see American Disney comics return to regular publishing!
Talk to you later!

My primary interest is the ducks.
However I do have a (lesser) enjoyment of Mickey and Goofy. I'd read if stories were contained in a Mickey and Friends title, and included in WDCS.

Marvel's been doing the Disney Kingdoms line of stuff based on the theme parks. It's on hiatus after doing a story about Epcot's Figment and Dreamfinder and is set to come back in March with Big Thunder Mountain. Game plan they have is creating a shared universe of all these theme park rides with the connections growing as the line goes on.
