Inspired by the Scrooge McDuck's coat thread. Basically, which colors do you prefer on the Beagle Boys outfits.
-Orange shirts, blue hats, blue pants and (sometimes) white gloves in the American comics
-Red shirts, green hats, blue pants and (sometimes) yellow gloves in the Italian comics and Ducktales
Some other option I forget to list or wasn't aware of
I myself prefer the first option. I'm American, so its the color combo I always see when I read the comics over here and I guess I'm just more used to it. Plus it may also be that I just like orange and blue together better than the red and green together.
I still like the second option though, as I grew up watching Ducktales on Toon Disney as a young kid.

In Dutch Disney magazines, the combination of red shirts, blue hats and blue pants is also generally used, as well as the combination that's used in American comics. However, a whole bunch of Italian stories are printed in Dutch pocketbooks, which appear very frequently, so the second listed combination is also one Dutch readers are familiar with.

I've read very few non-American comics, and the one's I've read have probably been recolored anyway--I don't think I've ever seen the other one, never having seen Ducktales myself.

I prefer how I saw them originally in the US/Canadian version, with orange shirts, blue pants and blue hats. But, I don't mind the normal colours of the Dutch comics, as I've been reading those since the early 1950s, as well.

I like the Orange and Blue color combinations on The Beagle Boys. Of Course the Red and Green Color Combinations are good too depending on what medium they appear in.

I had a look at Barks' paintings again, and they actually feature blue-shirted Beagle Boys more than orange-shirted ones! Not something I expected. Can't really say I like his choice there, either.
Red-shirt is okay, but orange-shirt is classic.

I like red shirts + green hats the most :)

1. Blue shirted like Barks did in some of his paintings
2. Orange shirts.

I like the blue shirts best because it makes them appear more like real bad guys and terrifying and less like just Disney cartoon type characters. I want to believe in how bad and frightening they might be. If I was going to dress as a Beagle Boy for Halloween I would choose the orange shirt, though, because that's the most recognizable color for me.

I wonder would they look good in black...
