Hello guys i have a question for you.You prefer when story artists draw Minnie mouse with lipstick of without?
For me i definitely prefer without.Reason for that is Minnie with lipstick looks much older ( i know there is no much know about character age but thread it's not about that)like she were 40+ and she lost LOT of her cuteness.I'm guy wich in love in sweet/adorable/cute (name it whatever you like)characters and Minnie with lipstick is not one of them.Without it she is much much more adorable and i really more ejoy stories in wich she is showed without it.But what is your opinion about that?
p.s sorry for my English

My favourite Mickey and Minnie Mouse in comics were in Floyd Gottfredson's strip, especially from 1935 through 1952 or so. I don't remember Minnie wearing lipstick in those stories and gags. So, I'll say that I like minnie best WITHOUT lipstick.

I like Minnie best without lipstick, for the exact reasons you mentioned. When she has the lipstick, she really annoys me, but without it she looks more innocent.

I 'll take the middle ground, I like Minnie without the lipstick but still with the lips themselves drawn in the more mature fashion. Then the lipstick could be added, similar to Daisy Duck, for 'formal occasions'.
Btw, this reminds me of a great line from a Donald Duck weekly cartoon where Donald becomes increasingly agitated as he watches Daisy put on nail polish, rouge, eye shadow, mascara and lipstick. Then she tells him: "Oh, don't be so old-fashioned! Be civilized! This is 1941!"
