I know this isn??t a Disney comic per se, but I found it relevant and interesting enough to post here:
Disney comic artists Pat and Shelly Block have started a Kickstarter project to promote their own "new" humorous adventure epic Frostlings. I think it??s worth a look for those who like their style and humorous adventure tales, and I??d really like to see this project completed.

I especially enjoyed reading this part of their description, giving credit to the kind of stuff I too already love: "The art style for Frostlings pays tribute to the American newspaper comics of the 1920s and '30s. I still love reading Popeye, Little Orphan Annie and Roy Crane's Captain Easy, and the loose "bigfoot" style of that era appeals to me greatly. Narratively, I suspect the tale will sound a little like an epic Tolkien saga as told by Carl Barks."
