Do you guys know any friends or family of Gyro? There are few characters in the Duck universe that aren't primarily linked to the Duck family, like Magica's family for example. Now Gyro's a pretty big character with a lot of stories in his own right, but I can't think of many recurring characters linked to Gyro more than they are to the Ducks.

There's his dad, who appears in Don Rosa's stories a couple times, his grandfather on the steamboat, and his girlfriend from the Brazilian stories. There's Little Helper, also.
Do you know of any others?

I know that Gyro's mom appeared in this brazillian story: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=B+860081 , as well as in this Dutch one pager http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=H+86027 and in this Dutch puzzle story: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=H+86106 , so she's definately a recurring character as well. Gyro's nephew Newton appeared quite a few times (see: http://coa.inducks.org/character.php?c=Newton), and Gyro's great-grandpa Copernicus was the helper of the famous gentleman-thief Fantomius during the 1920s (see: http://coa.inducks.org/character.php?c=Copernico+Pitagorico). Gyro also has a Japanese cousin, who has a son. Both appeared in http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+TL+2088-1 .

IIRC he had a brother lacking self-confidence in an Italian story.
And I'm quite sure he had a romantic interest appearing in at least two stories.
