Here in Russia we haven't seen any classic character Disney comics for some 2 years now (or is it less?) so... welcome to the club, Greece. :( Anyway, I hope the Greek publications return soon. I used to buy me some Greek stuff when I visited this country.

Fast update for DCF:
We have information that Kathimerini (means Daily newspaper) has acquired the rights for the Disney publications in Greece. It's not something official, neither do we know more details about it, but I guess time will show if Disney comics return.

Ok, it's official. We just got the first Disney comic after 9 months. It's a reprint of the "GOOOOL" which was first published in Brazil. You can see the Greek edition for comparison here. I attach the new advertisement that we got from this new issue, which announces the weekly publication of Mickey Mouse every Friday after June 20.

Right now it's official that we will have new editions of the weekly "Mickey Mouse" (the Greek Topolino), PKNA, and a few more comics, such as Cars, Disney Princess, etc. We still don't know details, but be prepared to see again new Greek indexed publications on COA :)

It's a shame that USA nowadays doesn't have an audience for Disney, because that's where it all started from. At least, Europe seams to be going strong. Even on a severe economic situation, it took only 9 months for someone to get the Disney license over here. I hope Disney comics will begin publication again on more countries.

Great news!!! That means that there will again be regular issues of Disney Comics in Greece. Now, if we could only get that done for USA, so Americans, Canadians(who can't read French), Australians, New Zealanders, and English-speaking South Africans (who can't read Afrikaans) can read new Disney comics.
