Hello everybody,
I have the first 26 issues of Donald Duck (Pato Donald) starting at 1944, for sale on ebay. I have a comic/book shop, I'm not a collector, so unfortunatelly I cannot index them, but maybe some of you may be interested on it. I also accept best offer.

Best regards,
Fernando

What is intersting to me about those books is the cover art. I see that a few of the covers are US produced, drawn by Walt Kelly. And the other half seem to have been drawn by an Argentinian artist copying Kelly's style. He did a very good job. Does anyone know the name of that artist?

Yes, honestly, cover art is very nice. You of course can take the pics in my publication to index at least that on inducks.
I've checked a couple of issues and there's no name of the artist.
There was an artist called Abel, and apparently drawn some Donald covers from Editorial Abril:

But, neither Abel Guibe, nor "Abel", alone, are listed on INDUCKS/COA. Those covers have not been indexed. or, at least, credited to him.

It's clear that there are no serious collectors of Argentinian Disney comic books on this forum. Most Disney comics collectors might like some foreign language Disney stories as a curiosity. But, they aren't likely to want to buy 70-yeas old foreign language comic books at serious collector prices, I can read Spanish, and would like to have some of those old Argentinian comic books but, I wouldn't even want more than a handful of them if they would cost more than $3.00 US each.
You might do better by advertising on the Spanish Disney comics forum at La T.I.A.com .
