I cannot believe that Dark Horse did not to produce HDL in this line. I contacted Dark Horse and was informed that there are no plans for statuettes of any more characters. How can HDL not be included when most Scrooge stories contain the trio? Really peeves me. I guess they took the easy road since it would amount to three times the work?I always visualized the trio presented as one statuette.

I was also shocked by this. I thought HDL were far more pivotal characters in 90% of the stories than Glastone or even Gyro....I envisioned a 3 in 1 statue like that new maquette of the Rescue Rangers that is coming out. Is anyone else out there getting these? I have US and Donald coming....the others are on preorder... I got a Donald from Entertainment Earth and had to send it back as it appeared as though the statue was broken (at some point) at the legs and then glued back together and sent to me....I sent it back for a replacement....Anyone else having any issues with these?

I had a problem with Donald arriving having been decapitated clean off... a nice clean break as if his head had been sliced off via guillotine.

Did you send yours back for another one? Where did you order it from?....I'm afraid to see what the Gyro statue turns up looking like with the delicate helper figure in his hand.....detached. ugh.

Well, I just got an email that Entertainment Earth has reviewed my Doanld statue and all the others they have in stock are like this too......there are severe cracks around the ankles and top legs that show the statue was broken and then glued back together....perhaps I should go the route of Amazon now.....thanks for the info.

Well, I got a new Donald from Amazon - perfect shape, and a lower limited # than the one I originally ordered thru Entertainment Earth...so, if anybody's getting these - go thru Amazon for them...better product and lower price.

Eventually I ended up getting all of the Uncle Scrooge Series 1 and Series 2 statues. I like Series 1 the best and think they're sculpted better, but Series 2 has grown on me. I don't like the nephews piece in Series 2, though. It's too small and doesn't look right with the others so I got rid of it.
I also bought the Donald that came in the Dark Horse WDC&S statue series. Carl Barks actually painted that Donald, too, in his In Uncle Walt's Collectry painting so I allow him to sit next to the other Barks statues.
My comic reading is mostly just Barks and Rosa, though once in a while I pick up a Batman. Thinking of that, and trying not to be too completely one sided, I just ordered a Dark Horse Batman statue. I have my Magica De Spell and Beagle Boy statues displayed on the side of a small money bin and I think I'll hide Batman from them on the other side. Toys are only fun if you play with them a little bit!

The quality control on these statues is poor, and especially so since they are rather expensive. Some that were still factory sealed in the original bubble wrap arrived to me broken or chipped. On others Uncle Scrooge's glasses were amazingly crooked. When you order online many will arrive to you with their beautiful tin container dented. Also, my experience with Artist's Proofs on these is that mostly the details on them aren't painted as well.
It really took me some work going back and forth to end up with a nice collection of these. Though I realize the vintage looking Syroco style doesn't appeal to everyone they've grown on me more and more and they look especially great all together. I sure wish they'd also done some Junior Woodchucks (and in a matching size) and a Flintheart Glomgold, though.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these statues.
It's a shame that the quality and/or shipping damages are so bad. It's seems to be some trend. I had so much returns last year with a wide range of products (from snow globes to Blu-Ray collection sets) due to quality issues and shipping damages.
