I read about this today, but I don't know much Italian. Can someone write some more info here about how this came to be and whether it will affect the Italian producton?

As far as I can understand from Google Translate, Panini will organise the production of new comics in Italy. Let's hope it's all for the good. Was the bad economy the motive for Disney to give the business to someone else?

For back issues I'd suggest using eBay.
New Topolino comics have a cover price listed for a whole bunch of European countries. What I'd like to know is where they are being distributed. Any spesific chains of stores that take it in across Europe?
