Hello all!
I would like to know if it would be possible to buy all 23 volumes of the Donald Duck Adventures series by Gemstone publishing, and how much, approx. it would cost. if anyone knows where I could buy them, or if anyone wants to sell (sorry if this is not allowed in this forum), please comment!

23? They cancelled issues 22 and 23 of the Gemstone series of Donald Duck Adventures but you can probably order the first 21 issues on Ebay or Amazon.com or somewhere like that. It would be expensive to get the whole series. I have #s 14-21.

Yes, you're right, there are only 21, saw that just after posting. I'm really hoping I can get them all for not more than 120 dollars

Good Luck on trying to order them.

Thanks! Do you think 120 dollars is a reasonable price, or should I expect to pay more?

It's probably doable, just bide your time until the right opportunity. I paid 105 for 56 NM Gemstone issues on ebay. (by far the biggest comic purchase I've made.)

It's hard to say, really. The digests tend to be at least somewhat harder to find/more expensive than regular comic issues, and since you'll almost certainly have to assemble a collection piecemeal, it's difficult to predict exactly how much you'd end up spending. I don't have the sums right in front of me, but if I had to guess, I'd say I probably paid closer to two hundred dollars all told for a complete run, and I have to imagine that shipping fees to Malta would balloon that price. Another factor to be considered is whether or not you have a problem with copies that have been given library bindings. I personally really, really don't like them, which made the search harder. If it's not an issue for you, though, it'll probably be an easier/cheaper hunt.

Oh, you live in Malta? That complicates things. A lot. Looked up some stuff on ebay and checked the shipping prices to Malta. Really, your only good bet if you go ebay is to see if a full set ever crops up for a reasonable price.
I used to just be able to check those out at my local library. Being sort of a traditionalist in my comics taste, I haven't bought any and don't plan to unless they are really good deals.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe Roger's comment was sarcasm ;)

Maybe ;)
But 21 Gemstone Donald Duck Adventures shipped to Malta for $120 ... No, I don't think so ;)

Out of curiousity, are there any specific issues that have enough merit to seek out in particular?

It's not sarcasm. My comment was genuine.
