Well, I was looking on Inducks to see what Don Rosa stories I don't have (I plan to collect them all, its much more feasible than getting all of Barks's :P) and found this little story called Return to Duckburg Place here http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=Qno%2FDRSV+1E. It looks interesting, and quite different, as the nephews seem to have taken up smoking 12 years after our past visit in this splash panel. However, it seems to have only been printed in Nordic countries. Does anyone know if this is available online anywhere? I would very much like to read it.

Whoah. Sounds interesting (and quite ironic). Can't think of any other story where such a thing could happen.

In this story, we know who is HD&L's father : Daffy Duck!
Mickey was killed in Tibet when he chase Black Pete.

I wonder how Disney let this story be included in an official publication, with their logo on the cover?

Not sure :S. I believe this is the same publication series that Disney wouldn't let Don Rosa put his epilogue into, so it seems they were exercising some censorship over things.

As long as the publisher has the right to use their copyrighted characters, what's the legal background of Dinsey enforcing censorship?

Oh, there's not a chance that you're allowed to add non-Disney stuff to a Disney publication without Disney's approval ?? that's common sense ?? but in this case we're talking about the Don Rosa Collection, deluxe hardcovers sold as much in Don's name as in Disney's, and there a specific exceptions for that series that non-Disney material may be included, though it's specified very clearly that it's copyright Don Rosa and allowed EXCLUSIVELY for that edition.

Hmm, the copyrighting process here seems rather intriguing. I remember Î?Î?Î?Î?Î? publishing several Sergio Aragones stories.
