I don't know if anyone has ever wondered,since it does not affect the stories,but does Donald in comics have the same voice as in cartoons?It is
never mentioned.
What i think is that his voice in comics is regular,since none of the characters has ever commented on that and he has never had any difficulties in
communicating with the others.

I think that Donald's voice sounds the same in the comics than it does in the cartoons. I also think that Scrooge, Daisy, and the Nephews have more human type voices. Daisy has her voice from the later cartoons (IE Mickey Mouse Works, House of Mouse) and Huey Dewey and Louie have their Duck Tales voices. It's the same with Scrooge.

I'm in the minority so far, but I totally don't imagine comics-Donald speaking with the cartoon-Donald voice. The characters are much more human than that for me. There are many lines that Donald says in the comics that just wouldn't work for me in the cartoon-Donald voice, because I can't take it seriously. Any sincere feeling (pride, affection, fear) would become laughable to me in that voice. In the brittle mastery stories, I couldn't take Donald's competence seriously, which you are supposed to do--it's his hubris that defeats him, not incompetence. Even many funny lines wouldn't work for me in the cartoon-Donald voice. Think of Donald suspended between two eagles in one of Rosa's stories, saying "If I were a Junior Woodchuck, I'd be enjoying this." That's just not funny to me if I think of its being said in the cartoon voice, because you have to hear him as a typical grown-up who doesn't want that level of adventure/danger but who also has some ironical self-awareness about his own fear. I can't hear any of that if I imagine the cartoon voice--neither the ordinary guy nor the ability to take an outside perspective in the middle of peril.
Perhaps what it comes down to is that I can't identify with a character speaking with cartoon-Donald's voice, in any but the most superficial sense. And I identify with comics-Donald often.
For me all the characters in Duckburg speak in human voices. Scrooge has a Scottish accent, as in DuckTales, but his voice is a bit harsher, more clipped and businesslike, less kind, crankier, as Review or Die's Finnish friend put it. Self-confident, impatient, unbending, proud of his stinginess, not prone to empathize with others. (He does have a heart, in my view, but it's way more deeply buried than in his DuckTales persona.) His sisters and the other Scottish characters also have Scottish accents, of course.

I completely agree. You hit all the points. The duck voice just takes you out of the illusion. Could you imagine Huey, Dewey and Louie saying Barks lines in their DuckTales voices?

However, I do imagine Mickey and Goofy having their cartoon voices. Mickey's falsetto isn't nearly as distracting as Donald's quacking.
