What a Shame.

I've read some pretty silly conclusions drawn from this. Basically, there's people who think that this indicts the vast Disney empire as a whole ... while I suspects it was just an indulgence on the part of a "lowly" background artist toiling away in the TV animation department. ;)
Gargoyles' (pre-bestselling Dan Brown novels) take on the subject of the Illuminati -- an overt subplot that ran through several episodes -- (or the intermittent esoteric historical reference on Don Rosa's part, for that matter) is far more interesting to me than speculating upon a single odd-curiosity peripheral image. But that's just me.
