Here is a list of My Top 10 Disney Comics
10. Mickey Mouse Adventures: This comic may not be the original Mickey Mouse comic but it is pretty cool nonetheless. I especially liked The Mystery Weaponeer storyline in the first series #s 11-14. The Gemstone Series was pretty good but I liked the Disney Series better.
9. Walt Disney Giant: This Comic had special themes in every issue what's not to love. I liked the Scrooge story in issue 1 and the Mickey story in issue 4. You can't go wrong with this series.
8. Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers: This series is really good if you like the cartoon that it's based on. They had pretty original stories. I especially like the King of the Beasts Caper story in #s 3-6. Unfortunately I don't have some issues of the first series and only one of the second series but I think from the issues that I do have it's pretty good for what it is.
7. Uncle Scrooge Adventures: This comic book is pretty darn good if you like the character Scrooge McDuck. This comic book has a lot of stories by some of the greatest Disney Comic Artists Carl Barks, Don Rosa, William Van Horn. I especially liked The Phantom Blot Crossover Story in issue 23 and a lot of the stories in other issues.
6. Darkwing Duck: Another Disney Afternoon Type Comic. I thought the storyline in the first series was pretty cool considering it was an adaptation of the series origin. I don't have too many issues of the second series but if I did I would have enjoyed them.
5. Duck Tales: This is the series that was the foundation of The Disney Afternoon. I have a few issues of the first series and a few of the second series but none of the third series but I'm pretty sure if I had all 3 series They would have been good.
4. Donald Duck Adventures: This series is pretty good if you're a fan of Donald Duck. I have quite a few issues of all three series. I like Lost in the Andes in issue 3 of the first series and it's sequel Return to Plain Awful in issue 12. There are a lot of other good stories too.
3. Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse: Two of the most popular Disney Characters in one comic book. How cool is that? This series was pretty cool when it was around. It was a pity that it lasted for seven issues.
2. Uncle Scrooge: Now this is the original title that featured Scrooge McDuck as the protagonist. It had quite a good run. This is the second longest running Disney Comic ever. I especially liked The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck story line in #s 285-296. A lot of the stories were good too.
1. Walt Disney's Comics and Stories: This is the longest running Disney Comic ever. This comic book has almost every Disney Character created prior to 1985. It has a lot of good stories. I especially liked the Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse crossover story #s 657-661.

You have to admit, that is some fucking EERILY well-done spam. The image really sells it.

I don't have much Disney experience, since I only got in to the comics during the Boom era, so I'm going to limit it more to the particular stories I like. This isn't so much a matter of objective quality as it is things I happen to really like.
1. The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck (Including companion chapters, with a special mention to Prisoner of White Agony Creek). One of the best long-form stories I've seen in comics.
2. Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse. I'm cheating with this one because it went on so long, and I've only read the first four Fantagraphics volumes of his work... but the lack of newspaper strips like this is such a great loss to comics as a whole.
3. The Coin, from Don Rosa. I love everything about this story. The way it was written, drawn, paced, laid out, it's absolutely beautiful. Completely different from most Disney comics.
4. Darkwing Duck's The Duck Knight Returns. James Silvani is to my eyes, the best Disney artist since Don Rosa. It also boasts some very, very funny scenes, and suitably dramatic ones. One of the best Batman comics I've ever read despite not being a Batman comic.
5. The Magnificent Seven (Minus Four) Caballeros. The best art Don Rosa ever did, and the best Donald story he ever did.
6. Darkwing Duck Annual. This is a weird Disney story, but a very sad one. If the Darkwing Duck comic had been more like this, and less like the later arcs...
7. Micro-Ducks from Outer Space. In my eyes, this has got to be the best comic that Barks ever produced. It ended beautifully, and gave fantastic characterization to the Ducks.
8. The Loony Lunar Gold Rush. No, seriously, I love this story. It's funny, it's got great characterization, and an excellent plot.
9. The Old Castle's Other Secret [or] A Letter From Home. All the stuff for a Duck movie in one incredibly tight packed script, and probably a fitting end in my own head as a retirement story for Scrooge.
10. I can't think of a story I particularly love for the ten-spot, so I'll give a blanket to everything Carl Barks did. When I write, I think of the way he communicated stories visually and try to emulate that in my own work.

Notes.

1. The whole series. It may have had bad times, but to me this series is the Genesis of Disney comics. From the earliest beginnings to Barks, to endless reprints, Danish and Dutch stories, this series covers almost everything. And it's got the best translations and colorings.
2. Again, all of it. Also covers nearly everything.
3. Tie.
4. Covers two eras. 1965-1972 was dominated by simple, fun stories. 1973-1979 was dominated by Barks and his imitators, and they were great. And in 1978 they had Gottfredson Sundays on the back cover!
6. I have to give credit to the Gladstone part of Mickey Mouse (USA), which did some of it in color and 20 years earlier.
7. Once they have figured out in what order to publish them, it'll be the best Barks collection yet. Love the colors, something only the Gladstone series did better. But I like this format better.
8. This series collects stories of a certain theme. Imagine Gemstone's Barks/Rosa Collection, but more pages and authors. Includes lots of background material. Focuses mainly on Barks and Rosa.
