I wonder - Are there any chances to see more adventure stories with Donald + José + Panchito trio? Rosa made such a wonderfull job remind us what great team they are and I think I'm not the only one who got hungry for more (not by Rosa since he retire but by other artists)

I'd definitely be up for more interpretations of the trio, there's plenty of potential on a pair of foreign friends Donald can count on, and have stories that make him more independent from his well-established Duckburg acquaintances.

It would certainly be nice to see some Caballeros stories. The plots I see off the top of my head have so many different dynamics available to them that I'm very surprised there AREN'T more such stories.

I think I will write a long, epic Three Caballeros story, and hope to sell it to Egmont or Disney Italia.

I wrote it and my friend (Alberto DeMello) and I, drew the storyboards (most pages as completed as the 2 posted above). Sadly, Alberto died about 7 years ago. Because Alberto lived in Brasil from 1949-1965, and due to my desires to have it have authenticity) the story contains much related to a real setting in that country (Mato Grosso), and also is full of Brasilian cultural and folkloric references (The Sacy, a giant boa constrictor, hitherto undisturbed Amazonian tribes, etc). Alberto did some drawing of José for Abril during that period (under a pen name).

I've always planned it to be in the writing and drawing style of the 1940s comic strip epic story. Maybe I will get less money for it from Abril. But, it might be worth it if it is published intact (all 30 pages at once). Sanoma Uitgevers would likely chop it into 3 or 4 page "mini-episodes" (as they did to the 1940s strip epic tale).

I also have a couple 8-page José "domestic" story, in which he makes dates with three beautiful young women at the same time, and another, in which his rent (on his dilapidated shack in the Favela) is long overdue, and he is trying to avoid being thrown out. He goes through several schemes to try to raise money quickly.

Your José Carioca stories are very good, Rob! Great job! I agree with Fernando. I would like to see the stories printed too.
