I had it read to me in 1951 (when I was 3 years old). A few years later, I inherited that comic from my older cousins, along with all the Disney Comics from the 1940s, as well as a lot of Warner Bros., MGM and Walter Lantz comics. I wasn't interested in their superhero comics. Eventually, I kept only the Disneys.

"Lost in The Andes" is still at least tied, for my favourite Barks story (with 3-4 others).
