Hey Disney comic fellows.
I'm currently running a small raffle contest so I can put together an even BIGGER contest for the Darkwing Duck fans (which you're all invited to participate in if you're interested... it'll involve plenty of comic-related prizes!)
But I digress. I'm raffling off a print that was drawn and signed by James Silvani at San Diego Comic Con 2011 (this print: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dJ_MLptMjqQ/TiNfPTxmmII/AAAAAAAAAe8/ChwhZbCgw5w/s1600/Heroescon-Print.jpg). If anyone is interested in participating, here's how it'll work:
How to win:
1. Donate an amount of money and your name will be entered into the raffle. You'll be assigned a 'ticket' number. You can receive multiple tickets to increase your chances of winning.
2. On May 1st I'll pull a ticket number. The winner will receive the print!

That's okay. I had a feeling it would come off as kind of shady on a forum where people aren't familiar with my contests. I typically only advertise around the Darkwing fandom, since that's where people know me best, but I thought I'd try and extend it outward to the other Disney Duck fandoms.
To give you a background history: I run Negaverse.net and the Old Haunt forum (which is for Darkwing Duck discussion, although all Disney-related topics are welcome). I get a hold of cool prizes because when I go to the comic cons I hang out with Aaron Sparrow and James Silvani, and I purchase a lot of stuff from James' booth as prizes for contests.

This was my first time running such a large contest and it went extremely well! I'm currently planning another contest of the same nature, but due to the fact collecting prizes and mailing them off is quite costly, I decided to garner interest and bring in some money through donations (hence the raffle).
In any case, there is no expectation where people HAVE to donate. Even if people don't donate, everyone is welcome to participate in the next livestream contest, so if there's folks here who want to win some cool stuff but aren't too savvy about dropping any cash, no worries!
