As I said elsewhere on the Forum (I should have said it on a new thread), I enjoyed meeting Belle Duck, thanks to Lars Jensen's mention of her here. I bought Picsou 416, which has three stories featuring Belle (whom Scrooge knows from his steamboat days). I like her attitude towards money, which is that you need it to throw a good party. Here's my question: Do we know who created her? I note that in INDUCKS, the story with her first appearance (S 66084 The Coin Collection) is listed as drawn by Hubbard, with author unknown. A bunch of the following stories featuring Belle are written by Dick Kinney, art by Hubbard or Strobl or Bradbury. Is it true that we don't know whether Kinney wrote the first story, and created the character?
Lars, I'm keeping an eye out for an affordable copy of your Belle Duck story in a language I can read!
