There are also The Uncle Scrooge TPB #1: Pure viewing satisfaction (why did they title it as a onepage story?) and Donald Duck Daily Newspaper Comic HC Vol. 1
King Scrooge The First
I'm so glad we're getting ample helpings of Scarpa! Its good to see some Paul Murray there too.

The tpb's are digest sized, huh?

Not quite digest sized. Reading the dimensions posted at Amazon,http://www.amazon.com/dp/1631403885/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=7W7S3VTN2XQF&coliid=I3LSI81FO82T3F they seem to be about the same size as BOOM Studio's Disney trade paperback collections were, (But Amazon listings can change).
Kurt Appel
I wouldn´t publish the Murry-Mickey-Stories. They are real boaring kiddy stuff. We have a lot of fantastic Mouse-contributions by Gottfredson, Scarpa, Casty and other great Italian authors like De Vita. Fallberg, on the contrary, is one of the reasons why Mickey got insignificant. So I really hope that this story will remain the only Fallberg-Murry-story published by IDW.

It's quite something to get a foreign story in American shores (Donald's #4) already reviewed by GeoX more than three years ago!
More than likely a happy coincidence, but it's fun to imagine one of the higher-ups being fans of his blog :D (If so, give us Federico Pedrocchi, IDW!)
EDIT: Of course, I post this BEFORE re-reading that entry, specifically its comments, and realizing our very own David Gerstein and Joe Torcivia are involved. All the more excellent!

SO, THE TRADE PAPERBACKS ARE BETWEEN THE SIZE OF DIGESTS AND REGULAR COMIC BOOK SIZE. ARE ALL THE PAGES IN COLOUR? OR ARE ONLY THE COVERS?

They're all in color. (Wak! Why did you think they might not be?)

But... but... I'm one of the editors, and I like GeoX's blog just fine!

Thanks on behalf of us both! And now you see that this story's been on the "to-be-used-list" for quite awhile.

As for Pedrocchi: while I love his work dearly (and struggled to present "Special Correspondent" and "The Secret of Mars" right!), most of his remaining Donald stories strike me as a better fit for some kind of collectors' edition than to the monthly Donald Duck. But we'll see.
Clapton
David, do you think Pedrocchi is better suited for a collectors edition because of the content of his reaming stories, the price to get it here in a presentable manner or is it some other reason I can't think off?
GeoX
Let's give all due credit to Matilda, who recommended the "Perfect Happiness" story to me. It's a great choice for localization.
WB
Personally, I can't wait to read Joe Torcivia's rendition of it. I'm certain he'll knock it outta the park.
