...their adult counterparts or do you think that they're different characters? I'm asking about the baby versions of characters from the Mickey and Friends series not the baby versions of the movie characters. I'm always wondering if they're the adult characters as babies or different characters that resemble their adult counterparts but I'm not sure. In one Disney Babies story, it featured Baby Minnie looking at the pictures that featured Adult Donald and one of HDL who also appeared as a JW in a book but in backward. This story confirmed that the baby counterparts are different characters than their adult counterparts. Maybe because this series of Disney Babies take place in an universe where the adult counterparts are real or fictional characters. Some covers featured one of the characters in his/her adult form and some other characters in their baby forms like in this cover:

I know that there were some older stories that featured different baby versions of adult characters that were not the same as the Disney Babies versions because those stories existed before the Disney Babies franchise was made. There were some other stories that featured both adult and baby counterparts (in Disney Babies style) of the same characters together like in this Mickey Mouse story but these stories confirmed that the baby versions of characters were the adult characters as babies. Maybe because the writers of those stories decided to use the Disney Babies designs as the baby forms of Mickey and his friends.
Of course, this is not the only series that featured younger versions of Disney characters but there is also the Paperino Paperotto/Donald Duckling series that featured Donald as a child and the Jungle Cubs TV Show that featured some of The Jungle Book animal characters as cubs/children.
