I have a lot of Dutch Donald Duck weeklies that I want to get rid of. Would anyone here in the US be interested? I now live near Chicago and I am moving to Florida, and I don't want to bring them all. I already regret bringing them all when I moved here from the Netherlands in 2008, as I have not looked at most of them since. I have about 40 years, so it's a huge amount of paper to move.
I will keep quite a few, but am going to get rid of some years (parts of years anyway). I plan to go through them all and pick ones that I want to keep. There will be hundreds to get rid of, but I don't want to throw them away (too sad) and I don't think they're valuable enough to put on eBay. They're not all in perfect condition.
I think putting them in USPS Flat Rate boxes is the most economical. So if anyone would like some Dutch weeklies for their collection (and is willing to pay for shipping) please send me a message. I cannot yet give you exact lists of ones that I am getting rid of as it will also be a lot of work to go through them all and if no one here wants them then that will be a waste of time. ;)

Sorry, for again kicking it up, but I see some unanswered topics.
Dutch weeklies are no that rare, compared to USA editions. I'm not sure which 40 years are covered, but only the 1950, 1960 are really interesting (compared to the decades later on).
Special numbers like the first or last number on a volume are usually more rare. For instance nummer 35 and 36 of volume 1967 are rare. The same is for number 1 volume 1953. Of course there are a lot more special numbers. But for collectors here, the shipping costs are maybe a little bit a stand in the way. Nevertheless the golden years in Dutch Donald Weekly is around the beginning of the 70ties to the 80ties where a lot of unpublished Barks stories were published and Daan Jippes became Art Director. I thought around those years he teamed up with Ben Verhagen and Freddy Milton to deliver a bunch of great quality 10 pagers. Jippes did a lot of frontpages back then.. really beautiful :)

Hi Arthur,
I just want a few of the recent-year issues: Those from the last half of 2007 till now, containing artwork/stories from Daan Jippes', Freddy Milton, Jan Gulbransson (if any exist), myself, Barks-written or plotted (drawn by Mota, and anyone else), and any Branca stories not previously printed in Het Weekblad, as well as any previously-unpublished Jippes covers. That might come to about 25-30 issues. I don't know if you'd want to pull those out, or if you've bought any of those since moving to USA. When did you leave Nederland?
