Quote from user: Debbiethe Daisy Duck's Diary stories were sexist, but honestly, so were most portrayals of Daisy herself.
It's true that even Barks was given to some highly regrettable portrayals of the character, but the early DDD stories were by far the worst that I've ever seen--mere sexism gives way to straight-up misogyny. Some of the later DDD stories are big improvements, though; doing a good job of making her a strong character in her own right.

Roger, you haven't put Ludwig von Drake in the list yet! He did have a four-issue title of his own.

More Dann Jippes redrawn Carl Barks Junior Woodchuck stories. So far I only have Donald Duck Family The Dann Jippes Collection Volume I by Gemstone. It would be a real treat to get some more.

Yes that would be nice Patrick. I think those would be in the Huey Dewey and Louie Junior Woodchucks titles if that comic book got restored.

Please continue the Barks/Rosa collection started by Gemstone, which was carried on for one issue by Boom!. Maybe not really needed, but it's good to see Barks stories with their Rosa counterparts.
But first and foremost, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories and Uncle Scrooge. Without those two I see the US Disney comic line as dead. Second, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. Just try to keep stories with these characters in their respective magazines, no DD in US or US in MM.
Then, newspaper comics! No, really! I know there's no way for me to get them, but there's something about a newspaper comic series that is just... great. That, and they've been in the papers from the 30s to the 90s. Or maybe Disney could set up a webcomic series?
The old series Walt Disney Showcase. Nothing serious, just a way to get all those film comics to print.
And moar Ducks. DDAdventures, USAdventures, DDPennyPincher, you get the idea.

I also want to complete the set of Barks original/Rosa sequel collections. We only need three more, right? Plain Awful, Tralla La and Forbidden Valley.
And I want a second collection with all the rest of the Barks-scripted, Jippes-redrawn JW stories.

I want one hard bound album with ALL of Daan Jippes' drawings of Barks' Junior Woodchucks' stories, and also including his drawings of other Barks scribbled stories and word-scripted stories.
I'd like Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories and Mickey Mouse to have current comic books published, filled with classic and recent European stories never published in USA, peppered with US stories never re-printed and never-printed S-stories. Mickey Mouse should have lots of Gottfredson stories never published in USA, as well as those never re-printed in Gladstone or later (e.g. after Dell), and stories drawn by Bill Wright, Paul Murry, Ken Hultgren, Dick Moores, and other comic strip artists and other US artists never reprinted (from Giveaways and early Dell). Also re-print US classical newspaper comics from the '30s and '40s (especially those that have never been reprinted since Dell ALL Silly Symphonies, Jose Carioca, Panchito,etc.). I'd also like special holiday issues.

I just discovered this site while searching for information about Disney's plans to resume publication of comics. All I've heard is that there will be a new Toy Story series. I somehow taught myself to read by age four and started collecting Disney comics. That was a LONG time ago! Several times as a child, I got to meet Clarence Nash, the voice of Donald Duck. He---Clarence, not Donald---was an acquaintance of my father and lived in my home town of Glendale, California. The titles which should definitely be brought back are Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Uncle $crooge---note the dollar sign---and Walt Disney's Comics & Stories, which began in 1940 as a continuation of the old Mickey Mouse Magazine and used to include a two-page written story in addition to the comics.

Thomps I think it would be nice if those comic books were brought back too. Maybe they will bring them back someday. I can't believe you actually met Clarence Nash the guy originally did the voice of Donald Duck.
