I believe at least North of the Yukon was up for display in Geppi's museum.

The Sheriff of Bullett Valley porcelain statuette was there when I attended the first Carl Barks art exhibit along with a Carl Barks birthday party celebration. It's big and so well excecuted it's amazing! My favorite items in the auction are it and the sailboat painting.

At the time I lived in Oklahoma City and flew out for this. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I had! There were so many of Carl's works on display and they're so GREAT!! Then were collectors and friends from all over. Finally, Bill Grandey arranged for a friend and I to hang out with Carl for a while.

Carl was so genuinely nice but one thing I especially remember was his great sense of humor. We were taking photos in his hotel room and there was a lot of birthday gifts around pertaining to his stories and the ducks. One was a bottle of whiskey that said Yukon on it. Anyway, just for fun Carl held it in one of the pictures and pretended like he was drunk. I remember Bill Grandey saying later he was always surprized after Carl wrote all those funny stories that people were surprized to find out Carl had a sense of humor.

I had an absolutely fantastic time there!!

I'm surprised too. What were those people saying, like: "Omigosh! The guy writing funny stories is funny!"?

Of course there are a number of funny people that are in fact boring or unfunny in real life.

Wow! I would like to own a original art comic page by Bark. But the prices are over my limit. Does anyone have an idea how much the final price will be (per page)?

It's up in the air.

Personally, I'd like to see them wind up in (another) museum.
