Does anyone here know how I can get back issues of Kaboom! Disney comic books? I missed one that I know of, which I want. That is Donald Duck 363, with "Somewhere in Nowhere" drawn by Daan Jippes. I want to find out if my local comic book shop can order it from Boom and receive it (from their distributor). I'd rather pick it up in person, than pay as much for shipping as the book, itself, costs.

I live in Orange County, California, and couldn't find Donald Duck 363 anywhere around here. That was right when was just suppose to be coming out, too. I'd like to find a copy as well without paying a fortune.

I just checked, and mycomicshop.com has it in stock. That's usually the first place I go for recent issues I miss, or for older Disney comics. That's how I got U$ 400 with the "Obsession" cover. I don't know what the shipping costs will be, if you're overseas, though.

The book costs $4.00 US, and paying for it to be shipped costs $5.00 US. I don't want it THAT badly. I can satisfy myself reading the Dutch version, until I can find the Kaboom issue in person. I don't think there is any other Boom!/KaBoom! magazine or book I want that could be combined. The big books I get from Amazon, with free shipping. But they don't sell the flimsy comic books (as far as I know). Maybe they do sell them in their used section, and I can buy the comic book there, and combine it to be shipped with my heavy books?

Thank you, Matilda. MyComicShop.com is now added to my list of favorites. They have Donald Duck #363 but I'd prefer it with the stiffer cover with the Barks painting Slow Boat to Duckburg. It does get to be a game with the mailing costs, though. I have different issues I'm hunting for but if I can find them all in one place at a fair price I can combine postage costs.
For instance, I'm looking for Donald Duck Family The Dan Jippes Collection Volume I, WDC&S #622 with Don Rosa's An Eye For Detail, and WDC&S #616 with part III of the Hideous Space Monsters. Prices really vary everywhere I can find them and then there's the shipping costs... but the hunt is all part of the fun!

You're right. But my hunt for Gemstone and Disney Comic Books books is nearly finished. I'm missing just 5 issues now :)

I've got Donald Duck 363 for my local comic book shop. Very nice piece of work.
Actually now is not very local since it is 15 miles away as the store nearby closed (sigh!).
I'll try to see if they have an extra copy of it and get back to you, Rob.
In case I find it and you do not need it anymore, there is always my brother "THE COLLECTOR" who will get it from me. So no wasted money anyway.

No worries though, if I get the copy it will be either you (1st) or my brother (2nd). So keep on looking other options anyway because they might have run out of it in my comic shop.
