Hiya Guys!
In the American version by Joe Torcivia, Donald states that since they met Yellow Beak the first time there has been "5.941 harrowing escapes". Is that a reference to any story in particular?
Thanks! ;)

Speaking for both Joe and myself??nope! It was just a gag, suggesting that a lot of time (and a lot of adventures) had passed since their previous meeting.

That's okay! Thank you! ;)

How you read numbers and decimal points makes an amusing difference here.
If you read . in "5.941" as a comma, as in five thousand, nine hundred and forty-one, then that's obviously a lot of escapes.
If you read . as a literal decimal point, then you have to ask: what did the Ducks lose during the PARTIALLY successful escape(s)?

Hey Dave!
How much - in your opinion - does an "harrowing escapes" last? 4, 5 days? More?
I made some calculation... If each escape lasts about 4,25 days (4 days and 6 hours), they'd take, in total, 69 years, which made Donald meet Yellow Beak right in 2011. ;)
1942 + 69 = 2011
