According to Wikipedia, the English version is available through forlaget-afart.dk/. Of course I don't read a word of Danish, so I have no clue what to click to order it.

Just write a mail to (Email removed) - and the English description of the disc can be found here: http://forlaget-afart.dk/life-and-times-of-don-rosa

Thanks. And it'll play on an American DVD player?

It says 'region 2' which is for European DVD players so no you can't unfortunately play on an American one, but when I ordered DuckTales DVD:s from America a few years ago, and had no idea that there were 'region 1' and 'region 2', I could change my 'region 2' DVD player to show 'region 1' but I could only switch back and forth 5 times so after that I had to choose between 1 or 2 and only watch DVD:s from one region.
But that's was on my DVD player and I don't know if yours can do that but I think that there is players that can play both regions as well so perhaps you could look into that. But I really want this documentary as well and really looking forward to watch it.

It says region 2, but when you look at it with IfoEdit, you can see that it is enabled for all regions. So no, it actually is not region locked and thus "region free". They probably only wanted to use "that cool little world logo thingy" on their cover...

Almost any DVD-player can be changed into region-free player. That's how you can play any region disk with your device. Google for it.

But "region free" is much cooler :)

Easy with Philips player (you just need a code for the remote control). Nearly impossible with Sony players (you need a special remote control or a hardware change).

Does anyone know if a Medion region 2 dvd player can play region 1 Walt Disney Treasures dvd's and how easily it can be turned into a region free player?

Check this list for your player model: http://www.dvddemystifiziert.de/codefree/medion.html
Or, go to Google and look for: medion codefree

The best player I have found is the Yamaha DV-S5750. I've been using it for 6 years and have yet to find a problem with it. Oh and the best part is you don't have to input any code/hack to make it a region-free player.

I did what the page says (yes, I can read German too). Nothing happened. Let's hope it worked.

There usually is no visible confirmation or anything, but it should be working anyway. You haven't got any region one locked discs yet to try it out, I guess?
