What does he do these days? Did he leave Egmont and start to produce comics for the Dutch market? The inducks almost makes me believe so. Anybody in the know?

Someone on this forum mentioned that Egmont has cut their production drastically, and that Vicar was now drawing some stories for Sanoma Uitgevers. The scope and permanence of that work was not discussed

Thanks, Rob. I hope Egmont didn't sack him after being their workhorse for nearly 40 years.
The only news about their production changes I'm aware of concerns the number of pages of mouse comics. In the future at least the ones of Noel Van Horn must not exceed 7 pages.

I heard that Egmont has been slowly, but steadily, cutting their page production over the last few years. Maybe some Egmont people here can confirm or deny that? I'm out of the loop. I am hoping to work for them again, at least with limited production. But that is not certain yet. So, I am out of the looPr
