Much looking forward to the Don Rosa freebie--even though it will probably significantly reduce the monetary worth of my treasured copy of Uncle Scrooge 310 (because it will make Rosa's Distelfink story available)! Not that I was planning to sell it, anyway :) .

Actually, I just bought a copy of Uncle Scrooge 310 on eBay about 3 weeks ago even though I knew this would be available soon. It was near mint and I paid $65 including postage so prices have fallen some. It's always nice having the original, though, and I really like Carl Barks' painting on the cover with the treasure chest and the ocean.
Knowing the FCBD issue was coming out I really had to debate my purchase with myself. I had previously sold my copy off when I unfortunately needed money and I missed it. I like having these original first English printings of Don Rosa stories. It was a very exciting time for me when these brand new stories were being issued. At least it wasn't $150.

Cosign Matilda's comment re US 310 :P. I am mildly disappointed that, being outside (FAR outside) the US, I won't be able to pick up the Rosa book.

For anyone in Orange County, writer Aaron Sparrow and I will be at Nuclear Comics and Skate in Laguna Hills from 9AM to noon and at Beach Ball comics in Anaheim from 12:30 to 5 PM. We'll be signing copies of the Darkwing Duck omnibus and Amy Mebberson and I will be doing free sketches on the IDW Uncle Scrooge sketch covers. We hope to see you there!
