Topic: What sort of accent do you suppose Indiana Goof and Fethry have?

Indiana Goof
Title says it all. ;)

Judging from his speech, Indy doesn't appear to have any obvious traces of a southern accent like Goofy (and I doubt he has one, I guess).

And for that matter, how about Fethry? Somehow, I think I imagine a laidback southwestern coast American accent... maybe.

P.S. I've always imagined Krantz as having the exact voice as that weird mad doctor in that House of Mouse cartoon who orders an "organ" from Mickey, Donald and Goofy and has all the giant toys in his home. ("You need to REES-T!")

I think the should speak the same way Goofy does. But I never read a story with him in English. There are only two published in the USA: one in Goofy Adventures 12/13 and one in Mickey Mouse Adventures 1 by Gemstone.
By the way: he is called Arizona Goof in the US

Fethry should talk like a "Hippie". Yes, California accent from the 1960s.

(nodding) I personally always refused to call him Arizona Goof. None of Disney's "We're oh-so-paranoid that Lucas/Spielberg will sue us for everything we've got" paranoia for me, thank you very much! lol ;)

Gemstone also published two one-pagers with the character.

Disney Comics called him Arizona Goof, Gemstone called him Arizona Dipp.
