As far as I can tell, it's not a TPB--it looks to me like a one-shot after the manner of Gemstone's stuff.
I'm not sure why Walsh's Gottfredson stuff is so little-reprinted compared with the Osbourne/De Merrill material, but this is a step in the right direction, I reckon..

Like I said in another thread, I think they're at least trying to strike a balance between what the audience wants/not trying the same old tricks. They've got some good things working right now and I hope they sustain it. I just can't help but feel that the whole Marvel/Disney alliance is like a giant shadow over everything Disney comic related these days. You're always waiting for the other shoe to drop, wondering if everything is going to get upended just as it starts to build steam. At this point I've lived through as many publishers as I have presidents of the United States.

Since I've never read this story, and the Rhyming Man appeared in "The World To Come" (which Boom reprinted last year in WDC 703-706), I'm really looking forward to this.

Sorry, it is not a TPB. It is a prestige bound edition. Hopefully the start of many.

Thanks! Hm ... I still don't get why BOOM don't seem to want to cooperate with Don. Putting his name on the covers and having some of his commentary texts would add so much value to their books.

I think this came up in another topic. I believe one of the points was that it might not be a lack of wanting to work with Rosa, so much as a variety of different factors that might present a problem with promoting it "as" a Don Rosa collection.

Actually, I think "Stone Ray"/"Cash Flow" WAS scheduled to be the fourth volume in Gemstone's Barks/Rosa series (I'm almost sure I saw it for preorder on amazon), so this makes sense.
I find Boom's promotional copy in general kind of comically hyperbolic, but this really takes the cake:
"Duck fans demanded it and BOOM! delivers," says BOOM! Studios Marketing Director Chip Mosher. "We??re bringing Carl Barks and Don Rosa, two of the greatest and most sought after UNCLE SCROOGE artists together like never before. These two classic Duck tales have never been published together and will not be collected in the future. So be sure to grab your copy before it??s gone!"
Yeah, thanks, Chip--I may already own both of these stories, but owning them together--that would definitely be a HUGE improvement!
(Also, describing "Cash Flow" as "classic" is a bit of a stretch.)
Oh well; maybe I'll pick the book up anyway just to support the company. I do appreciate what they're doing lately, even if their rhetoric's a bit silly.

There you go. US Amazon still lists volume 5 ("Lost in the Andes"/"Return to Plain Awful"), but apparently not 4, for some reason.
