The German publisher released a Duckburg travel book with map. It's based on the same map published last year by the Donaldisten. I just saw (and bought) it at my local book store. Great work! The map includes panels from Barks' stories. It a pleasure to browse it. The book itself is even greater: many buildings and areas are explained and shown. I hope this one will be published in English as well.

Aah, it is released already? Very good! I planned to go downtown to stroll around a bit in the book and comic store in about an hour anyway. I'll throw 20 Euros down Ehapa's throat for that with pleasure!
It is good that Ehapa recognises and adopts the achievements of engaged Barksistic Donaldism in such a way today. Thinking of what they presented as "map of Duckburg" in Micky Maus 20 years ago ...

Sounds like a pretty unique read!

If Boom! were anything like as adventurous as Glad/Gemstone, I could see this totally awesome-looking thing being localized for the US. But alas...

I remember that there was a Duckburg Map in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #s 572-574, Uncle Scrooge #s 267-269, and Donald Duck Adventures (Disney Series) #s 25-27. I have all nine pieces of it.

Piece 1 was in Donald Duck Adventures #25
Piece 2 was in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #572
Piece 3 was in Uncle Scrooge #267
Piece 4 was in Donald Duck Adventures #26
Piece 5 was in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #573
Piece 6 was in Uncle Scrooge #268
Piece 7 was in Donald Duck Adventures #27
Piece 8 was in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #574 and Piece 9 was in Uncle Scrooge #269.

They were a part of promotional contest.

Here one can see a few more scans from the work which give an impression of it:

I've always liked these kind of "in-universe" publications. Star Wars and Indiana Jones being prime examples.
Unfortunately, I don't know if there is a big enough audience in the states for this kind of publication.
